Fallen Pine LLC is owned and operated by founder Aaron Gschwandegger. The company was started in October of 2009 by selling nature photographs of the Ice Storm of 2009. The photographs were taken in the Arkansas Ozarks by owner Aaron Gschwandegger’s father Franz along with hand crafted wooden frames painted and stained by owner Aaron Gschwandegger. It was the subject of the Ozark ice storm that inspired the name Fallen Pine since that could be seen all around after the ice storm. During the winter of 2009/2010, owner Aaron Gschwandegger began experimenting with woodworking and eventually started making furniture and eventually wooden ornaments and other decorative items.
